History of MIGH Ltd

Mark I.G. Harrison, the Director of MIGH Limited has been involved in the Petrochemicals industry since 1992. Starting in Speciality Masterbatches, he has now focused on sales and marketing of Commodity Polymers in European markets. For the last 7 years of his career in BP (as Solvay, BP Chemicals, Innovene and Ineos), Mark transacted global spot deals of Polyolefin’s to Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA. In one year alone he was responsible for selling over 300,000 tonnes of polymer into these markets. Throughout his career his strengths are an ability to read market movements and understanding the feedstock dynamics that affect price volatility.

Since MIGH Limited starting trading in May 2006 (formed 2001), through his extensive network of contacts, Mark has developed commercial opportunities on both a regular (distribution) and spot (trading) basis. This has facilitated rapid growth in commercial activities for his associates. This has been achieved by concentrating on developing market penetration in Europe. The success has brought a stronger market presence for the associates in countries where historically they have failed to become regularly active. MIGH Limited has organised warehousing to facilitate local supply with quantinuity of supply for retained value in all market conditions.

MIGH Limited has extensive experience trading and distributing a number of polymers, notably Polyolefin’ s, PVC, Styrenic Polymers and Masterbatch. These products are sold across the globe to MIGH Limited’s existing converter customer base. MIGH Limited has reacted to demand for lower cost, greener products and now has access to multiple supply channels of quality branded recycled polymers (primarily Post-Consumer Recycled but also Post-Industrial), notably PE, PP, ABS, PS, PC/ABS and PVB. This exciting and growing market is becoming a larger part of MIGH Limited’s Polymers portfolio.
